The Times, in an article, says cricket has aroused great interest in sporting circles, and the prospects for t'he forthcoming tests are generally regarded with considerable anxiety, whV*h is. responsible for a determined effort to discover the underlying reasons for failures. The majority of experts blame the lack of preliminary co-operative training. Mr. C. B. Fry, in ian interview, says want of organisation has always been the'curse of English cricket. He considers the only way to regain the “Ashes” is to choose a team at the beginning of the season and train it thoroughly. The Times agrees with this view, and states that the result will then be an English eleven, and not a chaotic collection of brilliant players.—United Service. MANAWATU BEAT WANGANUI.
