WEDDINGS.

LOBB—COTTIER. The marriage of Mies Rita May Cottier, second daughter of Mr and Mrs. H. W. Cottier, of Inglewood, to Mr. Edgar Lobb, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Lobb, of Westown, New Plymouth, was celebrated in the Inglewood Methodist Church on Thursday last, the Rev. Bensley officiating. Mr. J. Sutherland presided at the organ, and as the bride entered t'he church the hymn “The Voice That Breathed O’er Eden” was sung. The bride wore a cream costume and a pale blue georgette hat. and carried a beautiful shower bouquet. She was attended by two bridesmaids —Miss Thelma Cottier (her sister) and Miss Winnie Lobb (niece of the bridegroom). They were each attired in white crepe de with hats to match, and carried floral erookes. Mr. Gerald Cottier, brother of the bride, was best man, and Mr. Norman Lobb was groomsman. After the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Cottier 'held i reception at the Town Hall, -vVhere the young couple received the congratulations of the many guests (who were mostly relatives ) r after which they sat down to a sumptuous wedding breakfast, at the conclusion of which the usual toasts were honored. The happy pair left by motor on the first stage of their journey to Auckland, where the •honeymoon is to be spent. The bride s going-away dress was a handsome navy coat and skirt, and black velour hat relieved with cerise. The wedding presents were very numerous.—Record. LE FLEMING—CRAIG. On March 24 a very interesting and pretty wedding was celebrated in Manaia ' Presbyterian Church between Miss Isabella Annie Fraser Craig (Ella), second surviving daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Craig, of Manaia, and Frank Thomas, eldest surviving son of Mr. and ?Mrs. W. H. le Fleming, of Otakeho, the Rev. John Craig, brother of the bride, being the officiating clergyman. A large number of friends 'filled the church, which was most tastefully decorated for the occasion by friends of the bride. The bridesmaids were Misses Thelma Craig and Bessie le Fleming, and the groomsmen Messrs. Stanley le Fleming and Noel Meuli. The bride was beautifully dressed in white silk and overdress of silk lace, with veil and wreath of orange blossoms; she carried a shower bouquet of white lillium aratium and dahlias in maidenhair fern. Miss Herbert presided at the organ, and played, very tastefully, the wedding march. After the ceremony the guests met at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Craig, where the wedding breakfast was partaken of. At the conclusion of the breakfast the customary toasts were honored.
