AGREEMENT WITH BRITAIN. A STRONG PROTEST. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received March 28, 8.30 p.m. Paris, March 20. The Russian Parliamentary Committee, in a strongly worded protest against the Anglo-Russian trade agreement, says it is equivalent to the recognition of the Soviet Government, and when a National Government is established it will repudiate it and regard it as a hostile act. The agreement will only prolong the Russian agony by encouraging the Bolsheviks.—Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assn. BOLSHEVIKS’ BAD FAITH. Received March 28, 7.30 p.m. Helsingfors, March 27. Krassin’s report on the Anglo-Russian trade agreement says it is impossible to conclude with capitalistic committees, which are doomed to collapse, any treaties serving as a basis of peaceful relations. This agreement did not offer any guarantee that normal trade on a large scale will be really opened between England and Russia.—Aus. and N Z. Cable Assn.
