KIRKWOOD IN AMERICA. CHAMPIONSHIP NEXT M.ONTH. By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright. Received March 28, 12.15 am. New York, March 26. J. H. Kirkwood, the golfer, has arrived at Pinehurst, where a large group oi weil-knewn professionals and amateurs are already congregated for practice. Matches in the championship tournament will begin on April 1. McLeod, who won last year, had a score of 293 for 144 holes. It is expected more than fifty golfers will compete.— Aus.-N.Z Cable Assn
