THE FORCE OF ADVERTISING.

Sir William Burbidge, Bt., Managing director of Harrod’s Stores, has paid the following tribute to the power of advertising:— “The more one studies the potentialities of advertising, the more one investigates its often remarkable results, the more one ie led to the conclusion that among all modern forces for business development it stands first and foremost. And my belief is that, even now, advertising is but on the threshold of its achievements.” This tribute to the power of advertising from the head of so great a firm and one which advertises so largely is very remarkable.
