RATES IN FORCE. SO3IE OF THE DETAILS. / - The reductions in steamer rates of freight from New Zealand to the United Kingdom, which were announced last week, came into force on Monday The rates represent a considerable reduction on the tariff which was fixed in November, 1918. Freight on general cargo has been reduced, v?ith the exception of wool, copra, oats, and peas, the rates on which were lowered last year.
