MANY EX-SERVICE MEN. By Telegraph.—Press Assn —CopyrightReceived March 23, 12.35 turn. London, March 21. In the House of Commons, Mr. L. C. (Amery (Under-Secretary for the Colonies) said the total applications for exBervicemen’s passages under the Government scheme of settlement overseas (amounted to 75,522, and the number finally approved by the representatives of the overseas Governments was 26,548. Free passage vouchers were issued to £5,491. With the exception of 2500 who jrere unable to proceed to New Zealand pving to shipping and other difficulties, few of those to whom vouchers were issued were still in the United Kingftom.—Reuter Service.
