At the Supreme Court John Ernest Brasting pleaded guilty to the theft of the yacht Mizpath, and obtaining stores and equipment for a contemplated trip to America, by means of valueless cheques. He was sentenced to four years’ reformative treatment. A CHARGE DISMISSED. Christchurch, March 16.
