GERMANY’S SHIPS.
MONEY FOR NEW VESSELS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn —Copyright Received March 16, 5.5 p.m. London, March 15. The Reichstag ratified an agreement between the Government and shipowners sanctioning a total grant of 12,000,000,000 marks for the reconstruction of the mercantile marine. The shipowners pledge themselves to build at least one-third of their former tonnage within a decade. Eight millions of the sum have already been handed over to Bremen and Elberfeld.—Reuter Service.
