There are clear indications that Tur-ko-Russian relations are critical, and both are preparing in view of further developments. The Soviet strongly protested against the Turkish occupation of Batoum, stating that it only recognises Bolshevik Georgia, with the frontiers defined in the Russo-Georgian Treaty of May, 1920. The Soviet will regard the encroachment of a third Power as an act of hostility against Russia—Times Service. . “
