POULTRY GROWERS.

DOMINION CONFERENCE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. The annual conference of the Dominion Poultry Association concluded today. It was decided to request the Minister for Agriculture to consider the advisability .of appointing a commission to inquire into the possibilities of the industry and the beet means of developing it. A remit was adopted urging the Government to supervise the egg export trade and enforce regulations that will ensure only high standard eggs being exported. It was decided to ask the Government to compel all people keeping poultry for the sale of eggs to pay a registration fee.

It was resolved that poultry men support the association by paying 3d per 100 dozen eggs marketed. The next conference will be held at Palmerston Northj
