EX-PRESIDENT WILSON.

SECRETS OF HIS ILLNESS. LIFE ONCE DESPAIRED OF. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received March 7, 9.25 p.m. New York, March 6. The New York Times’ Washington correspondent, commenting oh the possibility of a book being issued revealing unknown and interesting facts regarding the Wilson Administration, and answering Mr. Lansing’s coming book on ethics, which will indicate ex-President Wilson’s mistakes, points out that Administration circles were gravely considering the advisability of appointing Mr. T. R. Marshall (Vice-President) to succeed Mr. Wilson immediately after the latter’s breakdown. It is understood that Mr. Wilson was unconscious for a week, and his life was despaired of, the Government meantime being virtually rudderless.—Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assn.
