Hillside Railway winning the three principal (trophies, with a substantial lead in each case. The highest points scored for each ahiek were as follows: Aggregate Shield.—Hillside Railwaj 114, Hastings 57, Lyttelton 48, Gore 37 Taumarunui 32, Greymouth 30. Manual Shield.—Hillside Railway 42 Hastings 29, Opehunga 21, Greymouth 20 Gore 9. Masterton 8. High Pressure Shield. —Hillside ' Railway 93, Hastings 47, Gore 37. Lyttelton 32, Taumarunui 30. Greymouth 20. The prize money was distributed in the following order: Hillside £B5, Hastings £3B, Lyttelton £26, Gore £26, Greymouth £23, Onehunga £l7, Taumarunui £l7, Nevw Brighton £lO, Christchurch Railway £B, Te Kuiti £B, Masterton £B, Fitzroy £B, Hamilton £6, JJapier £5, Newmarket Railway £4, Addington Railway" £3, New Plvmouth £3, Waihi £3, Raetihi £2. Details of Saturdav’s events are: Hose, Hydrant and Union (3 men). — Hillside 37, Gore 381-5, Hastings 36 2-5; New Plymouth 40 (Hastings and New Plymouth tied for third place, and the times given are those for the run .off), Fitzroy 401-5, Onehunga 401-5. Hose, Hydrant and Union (5 men). — Hillside 43 3-5, Taumarunui 48, Gore 48 3-5, Hastings 44 1-5. Hastings had to run off with Fitzroy and Addington and the time given for, Hastings is the run-off record. Modern Event (five men). —Hillside Railway (Msec., Gore 40 4-5, Lyttelton 40 4-5, Taumarunui 411-5, Devonporl 41 4-5, Hastings 42 1-5. Consolation Event—Hose.
