MOTOR-CYCLING.

NEW PLYMOUTH SPORTS. Considerable Interest Is being taken in the motor-cycle races which are to be held on the New Plymouth racecourse to-morrow, when all the crack riders, as well as the best local talent, w!|j be seen in competition. The course is now in splendid order, and some fast times are expected to be recorded. The first race is timed to start at 12.45 p.on. Complete arrangements have been made by the club that should ensure the complete comfort and enjoyment of all patrons. HAWBRA MEETING. The Hawera Motor Cycle Club's annual race meeting wil be held on the Hawera racecourse on Wednesday next, and given fine weather there should be a record attendance. Great interest is being taken in the race for the President’s Cup, which has attacted no less thap 25 competitors, while for the New Zealand middle-weight championship a select field of all the crack riders will be competing. W. Davy" has fitted overhead valves to bis 2% Douglas, and the public may expect to see some good times put up by this little machine.
