The Hon. A. M. Myers, who is at present in America, has communicated with Mr. T. M. Wilford, M.P (Leader of the Opposition), and informed, him that he anticipates leaving San Francisco for New Zealand early in March.

The Public Service Commissioner has appointed Mr Arthur Fair, LL.B., barrister and solicitor, of Wellington,, to the vacant position of Crown Solicitor, Wellington. Mr. Fair is a native of Charleston (West Coast), and served in the New Zealand Forces from 1914 till 1919.

The appointment of Mr. Justice Stringer as resident Judge of the Supreme Court in the Auckland district has been confirmed.
