TARANAKI A. AND P. SHOW.

ENTRIES CLOSE TO-NIGHT. Entries for the Taranaki A. and P. Show close to-night at 9 p.m. with the Secretary, P.O. Box 18, New Plymouth. Up to the present entries have come in exceedingly well and it is hoped that by to-night all classes will be well filled. The prize list issued by the society for this year is garticuarly attractive, every division being endowed with liberal prize-money, besides numerous handsome cups and trophies. The society also awards a championship ribbon and a handsome certificate to the champion animal in each class. The certificate is a new design, specially executed for the society and issued for the first time last year; it is well worth framing and will provide a valuable record. The society has been very fortunate in securing the judges desired. All judges are men of vast experience and experts in their particular breed. Good judges, good accommodation, and proper attention are three of the most important things from an exhibitor’s point of view and are three things which the Taranaki A. and P. Society; can and will supply. Much energy has been put into the preliminary arrangements for the show, and it is now left with owners and breeders to send their stock along to make the show a complete success.
