A play-off was then arranged, and Elthaun won the match by the narrow margin of one point. The New Plymouth Club’s new greens in Courtenay Street were opened for play on Wednesday, members being well satisfied with their condition. A Humber of rinks were also engaged yesterday, when the green played well, one team scoring the possible on one head. ROTORUA TOURNAMENT. •By Telegraph.—Press Association. Rotorua, Last Night. The second Rotorua bowling tournament concluded to-day. Thirty-eight rinks, all from tie North Island, competed. The Tauranga rink, skipped by E. Crowley, won, beating Te Aroha (Morrison), In the final 24—17.
