The Rarawa is due to arrive from' Onehunga at 5.30 o’clock to-morrow morning with passengers and cargo. She will sail again for Onehunga at 8.20 p.m. POHERUA TO-DAY. The Poherua left Greymouth at 12.40 p.m. yesterday for. New Plyyunoutb with 1500 tons of coal to put out here. She is expected to arrive this morning. KAITUNA FROM WHANGAREI. The Kaltuna Is due to arrive from Whangarei to-day with a cargo of cement. After putting out 800 tons here the vessel proceeds to Greymoutb to discharge the balance. COAL FROM NEWCASTLE. The local agents advise that the Joan Craig left Newcastle at midnight on Monday with 1260 tons of coal for the Railway Department. Ti e vessel Is due here Sunday evening. KOWfiAI WITH COAL. The Kowhai is now expected to leave Greymouth on Friday for New Plymouth with a cargo of coal. She should arrive here on Sunday. KAIAPOI FROM MELBOURNE. With a full shipment of general cargo, the steamer Kalapoi arrived In the Lower Otago Harbour early on Saturday morning from Melbourne direct, and after being granted pratique steamed to Dunedin. The vessel left Melbourne on Saturday week, and had an uneventful and fine-weather passage. She has about 900 tons of freight for discharge at Wellington, which includes transhipments ex the steamers Kidderport, Mantua, Naldera, Atua, and Ormara. The Kalapoi, which is to complete discharge at Lyttelton, Wellington and New Plymouth, is apparently held up at Dunedin. CAPE PREMIER AT AUCKLAND. The Cape Premier arrived at Auckland from Durban on Sunday afternoon, and anchored in the stream. The steamer left Durban on January 16, and experienced exceptionally fine weather on the voyage. Her cargo consisted of 5782 tons of coal. The Cape Premier, built at Montreal two years ago, was formerly known as the War Faith. Captain Williams is In command. OTAR AM A DUE TO-MORROW. The Otarama was tlrfied to leave Auckland yesterday for Wellington in continuation of her voyage from Liverpool. The vessel is due at Wellington to-morrow. CORINTHIC LEFT BALBOA. Cable advice has been received by the Shaw, Savlll and Albion Company that the Corinttic left Balboa on the 20th instant en route from London and Southampton to Wellington. The vessel is due at Wellington on March 114. RIMUTAKA DUE SATURDAY. The New Zealand Shipping Company advise that the Rimutaka Is to leave Auckland to-day for Wellington in continuation of her voyage from London and Southampton. The vessel is due at Wellington on Saturday with the remainder of her cargo. PORT HACKING DUE SATURDAY. » The C. and D. Line advise that the Port Hacking, with general cargo from New York, commenced discharge at Napier on Tuesday. The vessel is now -expected to arrive at Wellington on Saturday. THE CANADIAN WINNER. The Canadian Government steamer Canadian Winner arrived at Auckland on Sunday from Vancouver, via Melbourne and and took up an anchorage in the stream. She left Sydney on Tuesday of last week, and experienced fine weather on the voyage. The Canadian Winner, which Is paying her first visit to Auckland, brought a number of passengers from Sydney, 1,000,000 feet of timber from Vancouver, and 600 tons of general cargo from Australian ports. On discharge she will load for Vancouver. Captain W. Wingate, who is in command, visited Auckland 18 years ago as fourth officer of the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Ruapehu. ATHENIC FROM SOUTHAMPTON. After a fine weather trip and uneventful passage, the S.S. and A. liner Athenic arrived at Wellington on Tuesday from London and Southampton. On her last trip from Wellington to London the Athenic was rather seriously damaged as a result of a collision In the Panama Canal. As has already been reported, Captain J. E. Crossland, who is still in charge of the Athenic, was exonerated from all blame. On account of the waterfront trouble the Athenic will not be able to work. PACIFIC CARGO STEAMERS. The Wairuna arrived at Vancouver on February 1! from Auckland with general cargo. She left San Francisco on Monday for Sydney. The W’almarino left Suva on February 14 for Vancouver, where she will load for Auckland, Melbourne, and Sydney. The Waikawa left Sydney on February 9 for San Francisco direct to load for New Zealand and Australian ports. The Waihemo is to leave Sydney on February 23 for Apia and San Francisco.
