THE BANK ROBBERY.
STATEMENT BY THE TELLER. NO TRACE OF CULPRITS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Nelson, Last Night, Several police officers and are investigating the Murchison bani robbery, but so far without result. The teller, Mr. Wilfred Engall, sayl he was bound and gagged about two ok three o’clock on Tuesday morning, and about seven o’clock, when he was able to free himself, he found the bank had been robbed. « Two men were engaged in the affair. They got clear away after securing thq teller's keys and ransacking the safe! taking over two thousand pounds. There are several rumors, but nothing has been definitely fixed upon. It is not yet clear how the premises were forced open or entered. The occurrence caused quite a sensation at Murchison, taking place when there were many visitors to the township attending the Chautauqua concert.
