At the Federal Arbitration Court the ease of the Seamen’s Union against the Commonwealth Shipowners’ Federation was mentioned. After discussing job control and the existence of the dispute inter alia, Mr. Justice Powers said he would ask the Full High Court to determine whether a dispute existed within the meaning of the Act. In the course of the discussion, Mr. Walsh stated that the seamen were willing to waive the right to exercise job control and leave the question of manping the ships to the Court.—Aus.-NJZ.
