The Flora, which sailed on Saturday afternoon, took 8060 crates of cheese for transhipment to tie Opawa at Wellington. KOWHAI TO BRING COAL. The Kowhai is scheduled to load coal at Westport to-unorrow for New Plymouth and Onehunga. The vessel is due here about Friday. COAL FROM NEWCASTLE. ■Die local agents (Newton King, Ltd.) have received advice that the steamer Joan Craig was to load coal last, week at Newcastle for New Plymouth, where the vessel is due about the end of the present week. Tte consignment is for the Railway Department. ZEALANDIC-S SAILING. The liner Zealandlc will probably get away from Waitara for Wanganui to-morrow. She is taking 13,000 freight carcases of meat and a sifaall quantity of general cargo.

THE KAIAPOI. The Kaiapol arrived at Dunedin on Saturday morning from Melbourne. After discharging part cargo she will proceed to Lyttelton, Wellington, and New Plymouth to complete discharge. SURREY AT LONDON. Cable advice has been received by the Federal Line that the steamer Surrey arrived at London last Saturday from Wellington. The vessel left Wellington on December 31. She is to load at West of England ports for New Zealand, sailing from Home on March 6. MARAMA FROM SYDNEY. The Union Company advise that the Marama Is timed to leave Sydney next Wednesday with passengers for Wellington. The vessel is due at Wellington on the following Sunday, and Is to sail from Wellington on March 1 for Rarotonga, Papeete and San Francisco. THE OTARAMA. The Federal Line advise that the Otarama, er> route from Liverpool, is to leave ’Auckland to-day for Wellington, where she is due next Thursday. ARMAGH AT MANCHESTER. The Federal Lind have received cable advice that the Armagh arrived at Manchester last Monday from Wellington via Panama. The vessel left Wellington on January G.
