NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB’S RACES. NOMINATIONS MONDAY NIGHT. That motor-cycle racing has leapt into prtpuh.rity in New Zealand there can be no gainsayliiß, and in no district is that popularity more evident than in Taranaki, where the keen sport provided nt the meetings already held, together with the excellent management, has caused the public to eagerly anticipate the second annual meeting of the New Plymouth Motor Cycle Club, which Is to be held a* tl:e New Plymouth racecourse on Saturday, March 5. The programme submitted is a very attractive one, well worthy of. the attention of all motor-cyclists. The sum of £l7O is being distributed among eight events, whilst additional interest is added by the fact that the New Zealand light-weight championship will be competed for at the meeting. Already the secretary (Mr. H. Townsley) has re * ceived a number of entries, and motor-cyclists <r'e reminded ttat entries for all oventa will oifwv Moadar wirnttg.
