ELTHAM CLUB’S ROAD RACE. WON BY L. COLEMAN. A cycle road race from Eltham to the Waipnkn toll-gate and back was heli, under the auspices of the Eltham Cycle Club yesterday. There were twelve competitor's, eight of whom, led by Coleman, passed the post in quick succession.. The fastest time (Ihr 12min 45secs) was put up by Collingwood (ser), who wins £3 and a gold medal. A trophy for the fastest time put up by a competitor under 20 years of axe was won by W S Sharrock, with Ihr 17min SOsees. Results: L. Coleman (12min.), Ihr. 22min. 40sec.. 1.
