EMPIRE THEATRE. “A DAY’S PLEASURE” MATINEE. There will be a special matinee of Charlie Oh&plin’s fourth million dollar ; comedy, “A Day’s Pleasure,” at the Em- ! pire this afternoon at 3.30, when diili dren will be admitted for sixpence and I adults’ for Is. At 8 p.m. to-night, under the aegis of International Attractions, there will be shown for the last time the greatest double super-feature programme ever screened in the Dominion. Two great master-features are shown in the shape of D. W. Griffith’s latest picture, ‘‘The Greatest Question,” and Charlie Chaplin’s fourth million dollar comedy, “A Day’ Pleasure.” There is variety enough in the programme submitted to satisfy the most exacting of tastes. Box plans are at Collier’s. EVERYBODY’S. A BIG DOUBLE BILL TO-NIGHT. A story of.stageland and the chorus girl who thought she could leave it, to settle down with a western husband, ts Margarita Fisher’fe latest picture, “Trixie from Broadway.” She had been a pocket edition of sunshine in the chorus of “Oh, and her transformation into a model wife took some doing. The story eminently suits Miss Fisher’s person and personality, and cannot fail to throw an audience into gales of laughter, or waves of delight. “Trixie” fehows to-night and to-morrow at Everybody’s, and the programme also includes a powerful fivereel drama of present day life entitled “What Every Woman Wants.” The popular Grace Darmond is featured in the latter picture. THE PEOPLE’S. LAST NIGHT OF A FINE BRITISH FELM. To-night concludes the local season of the first of the “British Screencraft” super productions, entitled “The Fall of ft Saint.” The featured artiste are two Bf England’s best, Josephine Earle and Gerald Laurence, and the story is the brilliant novel by Eric Clement Scott. The bill includes Gazette, Christie comedy, and “Elmo the Fearless.” To-morrow’s new bill, commencing at the matinee at’ 2 p.m., presents Selznick’s latest production “The Woman Game,” featuring beautiful Elaine Kammerstein. The bill includes Gazfette, comedy, Interest and “Tih Minh.”
