TARANAKI LAND BOARD.
MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Taranaki Land Board was held yesterday. Present: Messrs. G. H. Bullard (chairman), John Heslop, C. J. Ryan, W. R. Cleland, and J. W. H. Martin. The following applications for land were approved: E. J. R. Hill, section Ils, Kohura Settlement; Jack Marrall, sections 8s and 12s, Kohura Settlement (subject to disposal of his present property). The surrender of the lease of section 255, Huatoki Settlement (George Kindberg) was accepted. j Proposals for the expenditure of thirds by the Waitomo County were approved. Mr. James Young was appointed valuer for sections 32 and 34, Ngatikahumate Block, the lease of which is at present held by R. J. Campbell. The following transfers were approved: Section 2, block XIII, Waro, J. C. Moore to G. E. Glover; sub. 5, part sec. 560. Town of New Plymouth, Hayden and Dingle to W. A. Horne; sub 6, part section 562, Town of New Plymouth, Hayden and Dingle to A. K. Collins; sub. 7, part section 562, Town of New Plymouth, Hayden and Dingle to Mary Larkin; allotment 8, part section 562, Town of New Plymouth, Hayden and Dingle to H. G. Wooldridge; section 10, block VIH, Mimi. C. P. Chapman to L. R. and P. D. Chapman; section 574, Town of New Plymouth, Henry Peterson to Adam Lile snr.; part section S, Town of New Plymouth, J. W. Hayden to Ada Rawlinson; subdivision 2, sections 1322 and 1323, Town of New Plymouth, J. W. Boon, to A. R. Davis; parts; section 2162 and c, Town of New Plymouth, W. H. Way to G. H. Woolier; section 540, Town of New Plymouth, E. Snowball to C. E. Fairbrother; sub. 1, sections 378 and 379. Town of Stratford. M. Culelough to E. Parrish. The transfer of section 7, block I, Rangi, from J. A. Roache to J. T. O’Dcnnell, was recommended for the approval of the Minister of Lands. / The following transfers were held over: Section 12 block V, Egmont, D. H. Coulter to F. Beetham; section 5, block H, Tangitu, S. P. Good to J. A. Ingham: section 3, block HI, Totoro, J. Monk to W. A. Gauntlett. The next meeting of the board will be held on March 16, instead of the 23rd, as originally intended.
