A Shropshire syndicate has arranged with Liverpool bankers and cotton brok. ers to advance £400,000 towards a scheme for storing cotton in Czechoslovakia, where it- will be finished and manufactured into yarns and other goods for exportation to Britain and the Dominions. Two of the most prominent textile firms in Czecho-Slovakia will carry out the work on a profit sharing basis, and the Czecho-Slovakian Government and a combine of Czech banks will guarantee the enterprise.—Aus.-N.Z.
