RAILWAYMEN’S AGREEMENT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. There was a largely attended meeting of railwaymen at Petone last evening, when the' president (Mr. R. Hampton) and the general secretary (Mr. M. J. Mack) of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants attended to explain the new agreement. A motion of censure the executive was defeated, and it was /''Animously decided to take a ballot of 2\mbers on the question of accepting or ejecting the agreement.
