The sun rises to-day at 5.18 a.m. and sets at 6.42 p.m.; to-morrow, rises at 5.19 a.m. and seta at 6.41 p.m. IN PORT. La Merced, aux. schooner. EXPECTED ARRIVALS. Rarawa, from Onehunga, to-day. Flora, from south, to-day. Kalapoi, from Melbourne, this month. THE RARAWA. Tie Rarawa is due to arrive from Onehunga at 5.30 o’clock this morning with passengers and cargo. She will sail again for Onehunga at 8.20 p.m. LA MERCED DISCHARGING. The La Merced commenced discharging her ccai cargo yesterday, and she being the only vessel in port good progress was made with the work. FLORA TO-DAY. Latent advices state that the Fiori was to leave Wellington at midnight last night for New Plymouth. The vessel brings a cargo of general merchandise to discharge here, and should arrive late to-day. RUAiHINE FOR LONDON. The New Zealand Shipping Company advise that their liner Ruahine is due back at Wellington on Sunday from Auckland and Napier to complete Homeward loading. Tho vessel is now timed to sail from Wellington on the 25tti inst. for Southampton and London via Panama and ports. PAKEHA TO Lt»AD. The Shaw, Savlll and Albion Company advise that the Pakeha is due at Wellington on Thursday from Plcton to complete Homeward loading. The vessel will leave Wellington on the 84th for London via Panama. KAITANGATA AT WELLINGTON. The U.S.S. Company’s s.s. Kaitangata arrived at Wellington from Newcastle on Sunday morning at 10.54 o’clock. The Kaitangata left Newcastle on February 5 in charge of Captain A. R. Stuart. Two days out from port she encountered a southerly gale, with heavy seas and rough! weather generally. The Kaitangata has a general cargo of about 1500 tons, and 100 tons of coal. After discharging her cargo at Wellington she will proceed to Greymouth to load for Sydney. THE DURHAM TO LOAD. The Federal Line advises that the steamer Durhaun is due at Wellington on Wednesday from Plcton to complete Homeward loading.
