SHORTHAND EXAMINATIONS. The following is a of pupils of the New Plymouth Technical College who were successful in Pitman’s special shorthand examinations held in November last:— Speed Certificates (80 words per minute). — Winne Carrick, Eileen Hine, Frances Holmes, Avis Woodham. Fifty words per minute: Doris Barnden, Violet Bosson, Grace Fawcett, Mary Kivell, Mary Macßae, Ethel Smith, Fannie Soffe, Eva Symonds. Theory Certificates.—Nora Andrews, Grace Fawcett, Mary Macßae, Iris Mountford, Ruth Palmer, Fannie Soffe, Eva Symonds. Elementary Certifloates.—Grace Baldock, Rdita Buttimore, Vera Carmichael, Janet Fitzherbert, Elsie Franklyn, Jessie Johns, Isabella Millar, Ailsa Magnusson, Winnie Sampson, Connie Spurdle.
