It was mentioned at the opening of a new technical school at Pukekohe last week that during this season 300,000 bags of potatoes had been shipped from the Pukekohe * station, representing £75,000, at an average value of 5s a bag. It was also stated that a season’s entire produce dispatched from that station was worth £2504)00.
