THE RARAWA. Tho Rarawa arrived from Onehunga early yesterday morning with passengers and 17G tons of general cargo. She sailed on the return trip at 8.20 p.m. LA MERCEDS ARRIVES. The La Merceds, from Newcastle with 2500 tons of coal, arrived in the stream at 2.15 pxm. yesterday and anchored there to await berthage. She will come alongside when the Kumara sails this morning. CORINNA LOADING. Satisfactory progress is being made with the loading of the Corinna, and she should be ready to sail for Wellington this evening. She ta taking 20,000 boxes of butter for transhipment to the Hororata, and 4000 crates of cheese for the Opawa. KUMARA TO SAIL. The sailing of the Kumara had been set down for noon yesterday, but has now been altered to nine o’clock this morning. The vessel proceeds to Wanganui roadstead and thence to Wellington to complete Homeward loading. KOWHAI FOR NELSON. The Kowhai is expected to finish taking in the Iron Smelting Company’s machinery today, and is scheduled to sail for Nelson at 5 p.m. FLORA ON TUESDAY. The Flora was to leave Lyttelton at noon yesterday for Wellington. She (s expected to leave Wellington on Monday/ for New Plymouth, and should arrive here 'on Tuesday. After discharging here the vessel proceeds to Nelson. LIBERTY FROM NEW YORK The U.S. and A. liner Liberty is now loading at New York for Wellington and New Plymouth, according to yesterday’s Wellington Times. No advice has been received by the New Plymouth agents. CARGO FROM ST. JOHN, The New Zealand Shipping Company advise that the steamer Carpentaria is to load at St. John during March for New Zealand ports, under the auspices of the above-men-tioned company. MOERAKI LEFT SYDNEY. Cable advice has been received by the Union Company that the Moeraki left Sydney at 10.30 a.m. on Thursday direct for Wellington, with 393 passengers. The vessel is due at Wellington on Monday about midday. RUAPEHU AT KINGSTON. Cable advice has been received by the New Zealand Shipping Company that the liner Ruapehu, en route from Southampton to Lyttelton, arrived at Kingston (Jamaica) last Sunday. lONIC AT SOUTHAMPTON. The * Shaw, Savill and Albion Company have received cable news that their liner ionic arrived at Southampton last Wednesday from Wellington via Panama. The vessel left Wellington on December 30. THE RIMUTAKA. The New Zealand Shipping Company advise that the Rimutaka is expected to arrive at Auckland next Monday or Tuesday from Southampton via Panama. The vessel will put out part cargo at the northern port and then go to Wellington, where she is due about the 22nd inst. THE NEW HURUNUI. The New Zealand Shipping Company have received cable advice that their new liner Hurunui left Newcastle-on-Tyne on February 4 on her maiden trip, for New York to load for New Zealand and Australian ports.
