BOXING.
HEAVY-WEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Gisborne, Last Night. A boxing contest for the heavy-weight professional championship of New Zealand between Tom Heeney (holder), and Albert Pooley (challenger) took place in the presence of an audience of fourteen hundred. The contest went the full fifteen rounds, and resulted in an easy win for Heeney on points.
