WEDDING.

MeKBE—WATSON. A very pretty wedding was celebrated at St. John’s Church, Omata, on November 2), when Mr. W. J. McKee, only son of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. McKee, was marr'.ed to Amelia Cocil Watson, onlj' daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Watson, of The Hollows, Koru. The bride, wto was given away by her father, looked charming in a gown of white crepc-de-chine with silver trimmings and pearls. Her veil of white tulle and wreath of orange blossoms was lent by the bridegroom’s mother (it was worn by her on her own wedding day), and she carried a oeautiful shower bouquet of white flowers and ferns, the gift of the bridegroom’s mother. The bride was attended by Miss Rowell, of Stratford, and Miss Taylor, of Koru, wbo wore pretty white dresses and hats relieved with cornflour blue. The bridegroom’s present to each was a gold and ruby brooch. They carried shower bouquets of beautiful roses and ferns made and presented by Mrs. Watson, The bride was also attended by two little cousins of the bride, Miss Clara Meredith and Miss Jessie McGregor, wearing white net and lace dresses over pale blue, and looking sweet in their pretty ''leghorn hats. They carried baskets of flowers and both worb dainty gold bi-oocl’es, the bridegroom’s gifts. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Roy Mace as best man, and Mr. Henry Watson as groomsman. After the ceremony the guests motored to "Tlie Koru, the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Watson, where the usual wedding breakfast was partaken of and toasts honored. The bride’s mother was dressed in a navy blue costume with hat to match, relieved with heliotrope. The bridegroom’s mother wore a black and wl.’lre costume with black lace hat and pink roses. The gift to the bride was a beautiful gold pendant and chain. The hide’s present to the bridegroom was a ribbon guard with gold mounts. The happy couplX left by motor for the north, and the honeymoon was spent at Auckland and the Waikato. The •bride’s travelling costume was of silver grey with a lovely white hat. The Rev. F. G. Harvio performed the ceremony.
