REVIVING THE HAPSBURGS.
HUNGARY SEEKS A MONARCHY. ALLIES REFUSE CONSENT. By Telegraph.—Press Assn —Copyright. Received Feb. 10, 5.5 p.m. Buda-Pesth, Feb. 9. Hapsburg. partisans favor the return of the ex-<Emperor Karl to Buda-Pesth as King. This has evoked re-affirmation by the British High Commissioner in BudaPesth that the Allies were firmly opposed to the return of the Hapsburgs to the .Hungarian Throne, since Hungary had always been a stronghold of the selfish ambitions of the Hapsburgs. Meanwhile, serious politicians in Hungary declare that Hungary’s very existence demands the discontinuance of the agitation on the Throne question.— Reuter Service.
