CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dannevirke, Last Night. The Dannevirke A. and P. Society’s 12th annual show opened to-day in fine weather. The show is a record from the point of view of entries, which greatly exceed those of previous l exhibitions,' while the cattle classes are undoubtedly the best seen in the district to date. Championships were alloted as follows: — Romneys—Ram and ewe, U. E. Allen. Southdowns —Ram and ewe, H. B. Stuckey. Here’fords— a ßull and cow, J. S. Nelson. Aberdeen Angus—Bull, J. M. Webb; cow, D. G. Grant. Red Polls—Bull, Berg Bros.; cow, N. Inder. Friesians— Bull, Bloomfield Farm Co.; cow, H. R. Green. Aynshires—Bull, W. O’Donnell; cow, T. H. Colpman. Milking Shorthorn—Bull, S. Bolton; cow, Jas. Smith. Jersey—Bull, H. H. Phillips; cow, Banks and Son. Berkshires—Boar and sow, D. O. Smith. Maiden Hunters’ Competition—W. Cameron’s Starlight 1, H. J. Woller’s Monakir 2. Wire Jump (hunting style)—Miss V. A. Deane’s" Lemnos 1, J. J. Bryce’s Starlight 2.
