It is believed the Sinn Feiners’ loss is ; even greater than six killed, and that ‘ the object of burning down Mr. Thomas Kingstone’s house, which was used by ambushers as their headquarters, was to conceal the numbers of dead. Mr. Kingstone Has lodged a claim for £20,000. i Dublin Castle believes that most of the recent ambushes were due to strong flying columns of rebels under Collins’ command, and acting as his body guard. —Aus.-N.Z.
