It is a British Oval Steel Wire, heavily galvanised, and with a breaking strain of 1371 lbs against 1100 lbs for ordinary number 8 wire. There are 1713 yards to the cwt., 61 cwt. will ereet a six-wire fence one mile long. It will not sag, once strained light it remains tight. Price - £BO per Ton.
