MEDICAL OFFICERS FOR ’ SAMOA. APPLICATIONS are invited for vacancies on the Med’cal Staff at Samoa. Applicants should preferably he not more than forty years of age. The commencing salary will be £6OO per annum, rising by two annual increments of £5O each to £7OO, with prospect of then securing a district position, rising by two further increments of £5O each to £BOO per annum. In addition to salary, tropical allowances are payable as follows: To single man, £75 per annum with quarters or £lOO per annum .without quarters; to married man without family, £l5O with quarters or £175 without quarters; to married man with family, £2OO with quarters or £225 without quarters. Free transport to Samoa provided. At least two of the successful applicants will be required to leave for Samoa by the steamer due to leave Auckland about February 19.
