The sun rises to-day at 5.2 a.m. and aets at 6.58 p.m.; to-morrow, rises at 5.3 a.m. and sets at 6.57 p.m. SAILED. Jan. 31.—Kamona, s.s. (9 p.m.), 1425 tons, Cox, for Greymouth. , IN PORT. West Mahwah, s.s. EXPECTED ARRIVALS. Rarawa, from Onehunga, to-day. Manby Lodge, from Newcastle, to-morrow. Kini, fom Greymoutt, to-unorrow. Kumara, from Australia, to-morrow. Ngatoro, from Wellington, end of week. Flora, from south, early. Kaiapoi, from Melbourne, next month. THE RARAWA, The Rarawa is expected from Onehunga at 5.30 o’clock this morning with passengers and cargo. She will sail on the return trip at 8.20 p.m. KAMONA SAILS. The Kamona finished discharging her New Plymouth cargo of cement last night, and sailed with the balance, about 200 tons, for Greymouth at 9 o’clock. WEST MAHWAH TO SAIL. Discharging operations on the West Mahwah are proceeding satisfactorily, and It is expected that she will be ready, to sail for Melbourne to-night or to-morrow imornlng. KUMARA TO-MORROW. The Kumara, which left Newcastle on Friday for New Plymouth, is expected to arrive here to-morrow. She will load 20,000 boxes of butter and 7000 crates of cheese for the United Kingdom. KINI WITH COAL. The Kini left Greymouth at 5 p.m. yesterday with coal for New Plymouth. She should arrive here to-morrow. THE FLORA. The Flora is scheduled to leave Dunedin to-day for New Plymouth via ports. She is brmging general cairgo and should arrive here early next week. COAL FROM NEWCASTLE. Advice has been received that the steamer Manby Lodge left Newcastle on Thursday morning for New Plymouth with 3500 tons of coal for the Railway Department. She is expected to arrive here to-morrow. NGATORO FROM WELLINGTON. The Ngatoro is scheduled to leave Wellington towards the end of the week for New Plymouth with about 500 tons of general cargo to put out here. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. ARRIVED. Newcastle, Jan. 31. —Pukaki, for New Zealand. Onehunga, Jan. 31.—Rarawa (3.20 p.im.), for New Plymouth, passing Manukau Heads at 5.30 p.m. Greymouth, Jan. 31.—Klnl (5 p m.), for Now Plymouth.
