A NEW UNIONIST PARTY. POSITION OF THE CECILS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn —Copyright. Received Jan. 27, 12.5 a.m. London, Jan. 26. It is reported Lord Derby (formerly British Ambassador at Paris) has refused to join the Coalition. He may be asked to lead a new Unionist Party especially devoted to economy, and including the followers of Lord Robert Cecil and Lord Hugh Cecil. Lord Derby is expected to outline his political opinions at Manchester on Friday. Lord Hugh Cecil confirms his intention to follow Lord Robert Cecil if the latter joins the Opposition. —Aus.N.Z.
