Foreign exchanges on London are quoted as follows: —Paris 52.40 francs to £1; Stockholm 17-47 kroner; Christiania 19,47 kroner; Calcutta 17J pence to a rupee; Yokohama 30| pence to a yen; Hongkong 43f pence to a dollar; Montreal 4.29 dollars; New York 3.78 dollars. The decline in tin is to further heavy selling and the absence of a demand here. English tin is almost unsaleable.
