CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Woodville, Last Night. The twenty-ninth show of the Woodville Agricultural and Pastoral Association was opened to-day in glorious weather. There were record entries and a good attendance. Features of the show are the dairy cattle, fat sheep, crossbreds and home industries. The Hon. W. Nosworthy (Minister of Agriculture) was a visitor. He complimented the society on the excellent display, and .prophesied a good time coming when the present difficulties were overcome. Awards are: Championship cattle. —Friesians, bull and cow, Blomfield Farm Company Ayrshire, bull and cow, also reserve, A. Hansen (Terehunga). Reserve champion bull, C. Stevens (Woodville). Milking Shorthorns, bull, S. Bolton (Pahiatua), also reserve; cow, S. G. Morgan (Woodville); reserve, J. De la Haye (Woodville) Jerseys, bull and cow, J. H. Phillips (Terehunga); reserve champion bull, G. Milligan (Mangateretere); heifer, A. C. Lovelock (Woodville). Sheep.—Lincoln ram and ewe, W H. Gaisford (Oringi). Romney ram and ewe, F. Blatchford (Pahiatua). Southdowns ewe, W. Cunningham. Pig, s —>Boar and sow, C. Stevens (Woodville). Toogood Challenge Cup for most points in Ayrshires: A. Hansen. Gaisford Memorial Cup for most points in dairy cattle: R. C. Leach (Woodville). Oete Cup, for most points in tat sheep and crossbreds: J. Mitchell (Longbum). .
