BETTING ALLEGED.

SEQUEL TO A RAID. By Telegraph.— Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. A sequel to a raid on Saturday on premises in the city where it was alleged bookmaking was being carried on was provided in the Police Court to-day. John Weston was charged with permitting premises known as the Waverley Club to be used as a common gaming house, and five others were charged with having been found in a common gaming house. Pleas of not guilty weie entered in all cases, and remands were made until next Friday.
