Ross (Christchurch) beat Dr. Whittaker (Palmerston North), 26—14; 2G—2. % North Island Ladies’ Singles Championship Trial.—Miss Murray-Aynsley (Christchurch) beat Miss Gerard (Christchurch), 26—8. Handicap Singles—'Dr. Whittaker. Handicap Doubles.—Miss Richardson and McCulloch.
