BURNED TO DEATH.

FATE OF THREE CHILDREN. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Rotorua, Jan. 21. A fatal fire occurred last night. A house of four rooms was destroyed and three children, aged ten, eight and six years, lost their lives. The father, Uita Makai was dead, and the mother married again. A sister, aged twenty, was in charge. She left the children in bed and went to the pictures. Nobody seemed to know that the children were inside. One body was found under a bed. The origin of the fire is a mystery. There was no insurance.
