EVERYBODY’S. “THE TOWER OF JEWELS.” MATINEE TO-DAY. Corinne Griffiths scored another big success at Every’ j'dy’s last night where she featured in "The Tower of Jewels.” A famous collar of diamonds is the crux of the story, known as ‘‘The Toyer of Jewels,” and most of' the tense action is in connection with the attempts to steal it on the part of a daring master-criminal, the girl being a member of the gang, and known as “The Princess.” There is an absorbing human side to the story which should give universal satisfaction. As entertainment “The Tower of Jewels” ranks very high. “The Tower of Jewels” shows this zifternon and finally to-night. COMING MONDAY. A BIG TRIPLE BILL. A programme with three exceptionally fine star films, headed by Nat Gould’s big story of the turf, “The Great Coup,” shows at Everybody’s on Monday and Tuesday. The other two big attractions on the bill are “The Fly Cop,” a Larry Lemon comedy, and the seventh episode of “The Vanishing Dagger.” THE' PEOPLE’S. “THE COUNTRY COUSIN.” Elaine Kammerstein, in the latest Selznick picture “The Country Cousin,” makes a triumphant step forward in the artistic reals of the silent drama. All the attributed and gifts of a personality that wins and holds the hearts of the theatre-going public are held by tikis charming star. She is seen as Nancy Price, a capable young American girl who manages a farm. Nancy’s wholesome simplicity is accentuated as personified on the screen by Miss Bammerstein and that appeal is heightened when tlje country girl becomes the pivot around which turns the working of a group of “fashionable” near relatives and their friends. Nancy is instrumental in opening the eyes of her young girl cousin after the latter inherits a fortune and takes up life in a handsome villa. A charming love story runs through the plot. The bill includes gazette, comedy and “Tih Minh,” Na. 2. The matinee to-day commences at 2 g.m.
