Charles Clark, who ran amok through Manners Street in a motor-car and seriously injured, several persons, was brought before the Court. The evidence was that he was going at a speed of from 35 to 40 miles an hour and dashed into a crowd waiting for a tram. He was committed for trial, counsel intimating that the defence would rest on the mental state of the accused.
