Kaiapoi, from Melbourne, next month, THE RARAWA. The Rarawa left Onehunga yesterday afternoon for New Plymouth, and should arrive here at 5.30 o’clock ,this morning with passengers and cargo. She will return north at 8.20 p.m. WANGARATTA TO SAIL, The agents advise that there is no possibility of despatching the Wangaratta for Wanganui till Monday at the earliest. The work of loading is still proceeding steadily. CORINNA FROM SOUTH. The Corinna left Timaru at noon on Wednesday for New Plymouth via Lyttelton and Nelson. She will probably arrive here on Sunday. KAMONA WITH CEMENT. The Kamona is expected to leave Whangarei for New Plymouth to-day with 1000 tons of cement. If the vessel comes direct to New Plymouth she should arrive here on Sunday. MOERAKI FROM SYDNEY. The Union Company’s Inter-Colonial passenger steamer Moeraki was to leave Sydney yesterday direct for Wellington, The vessel Is due at Wellington, on Monday. THE TAHITI. The Inward San Francisco mail steamer Tahiti is expected to clear Rarotonga to-day for Wellington, where she is due about next Thursday. FROM PACIFIC COAST PORTS. The Union Company announce that the steamers Wairuna, in February, and Walmarino, in March, will load cargo for New Zealand ports at Vancouver and San Francisco, makijng WeNHngton, Melbourne, Sydney, and Auckland, Melbourne, Sydney respectively their ports of call. THE ZDALANDIC. The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Zealandic left Capetown on December 28 for Fremantle. She is carrying 1200 immigrants from Liverpool, the first ship chartered solely for the transport of immigrants under the scheme promoted by the West Australian Government for the settlement of British exsoldiers with wives and families. WAIHEMO AT AUCKLAND. The Union Company’s cargo boat Waihemo arrived at Auckland from San Francisco direct on Monday. The vessel left San Francisco on Christmas Ere, and experienced fine weather all through the voyage except when a south-west wind and heavy seas were encountered. The vessel brought a general cargo, of .which 2070 tons are for Auckland. From Auckland the Waihemo goes to Melbourne and otter Australian ports to discharge the rmalnder of her cargo. RUAHINE FROM HOME. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Ruahine arrived at Wellington from London and Southampton via Panama on Wednesday. The liner left Southampton bn December 2 and encountered rough weather on the run to the Canal. The passage across the Pacific Ocean was marked by fine weather. Captain E. T.
