SEVEN MONTHS’ EXPORTS. DECREASE OF £8,238,909. For the first eleven months of 1920 the export of butter from the Dominion totalled 289,697 cwt., valued at £2,727,686. The corresponding figures for 1919 were 325,789 cwt., valued at £2,898,826. For the other principal items of New Zealand produce the total quantities and values exported are as under, the comparative figures for 1919 being given in parentheses:— Chee5e.—1,192,930 cwt. (1,429,034), valued at £5,984,536 ( £7,073,381). 8eef.—635,383 cwt. (752,840), valued at £1,429,999 (£1,716,678). Mutton, whole carcase^.—2,lo2,7lo cwt (1,763,356), valued at £5,007,956 ( £4,202,473). Lamb, whole carcases.—l,246,3B4 cwt. (959,579), valued at £3,655,726 (£2,800,550). Mutton and lamb, joints.—ls,3lo cwt. (15,76-1), vaalued at £40,693 (£41,831). W001.—146.849,5761b. (262,412,009), valued at £10,742,150 (£18,548,336). Timber, 5awn.—63,031,611 super, feet (45,442,468), valued at £627,584 (£402.553). The value of the total exports of Dominion produce for the first eleven months of 1920 was £41,740,933, as against £49,979,842 for the corresponding period of 1919, a decrease of £B,238,909.
