THE RARAWA, The Rarawa left Onehunga yesterday afternoon and is due to arrive here at 5.30 o'clock this morning with passengers and cargo. She will sail on the return trip at 8.20 WANGARATTA LOADING. The work of loading the W’angaratta is not proceeding as rapidly as was anticipated, and she may not now get away for Wanganui and Wellington till the end of the week. WEST MAHWAH HELD UP. / Tire West Mahwah, which finished taking in her Wellington cargo yesterday, will be held up at that port till the Wangaratta sails from New Plymouth, probably about the end of the week, as there Is not sufficient berth? age at New Plymouth to accommodate two overseas liners at once. CORINNA ON SATURDAY. The Corinna was scheduled to leave Dunedin yesterday for New Plymouth via way ports. She should arrive here on Saturday. FLORA DELAYED. The departure of tfce Flora from Wellington for Nesy Plymouth, via Picton and One- ’ hunga, has been delayed until td-day. MANUKA ARRIVES. i The Union Company’s passenger steamer Manuka arrived at Wellington from Sydney yesterday afternoon. She brought 400 passengers, cargo, and malls. MAMARI AT LONDON. On Saturday morning the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company received cable advice stating that the liner Mamari arrived at London on Thursday afternoon last after a. fairly ■ smart voyage from Wellington. < RIMUTAKA AND OTARAMA. The Rimutaka, hound to New Zealand from London, left Newport News on January 12. 1 The Otaraona arrived at Colon on January 11. She is en route from Liverpool to New Zealand. RUAHINE ARRIVES TO-MORROW. The Wellington office of the New Zealand Shipping Company received a radio message from the master of the liner Ruahine on Sunday, stating that the vessel would arrive ; in the stream at Wellington at midday to- < morrow. She is en route from LoiSlon 'fend Southampton via ports. WAIRUNA AND WAIMARINO. The Union Company advise that the steamer Wairuna is due to begin loading at Vancouver a/bout February 10, whiflet the Waimarino is due to commence loading the first week in March. The company’s present intention is for both vessels to proceed from Vancouver to San Francisco. It is anticipated that the Wairuna will load for Wellington, Melbourne, and Sydney, and the Waimarino for Auckland, Melbourne, and Sydney. THE STEAMER KAIMANAWA. The steamer Kaimanawa. (formerly named the John Heidmann), one of the five G/r--man vessels purchased by t?ie Union Steam Ship Company, was at Chatham dockyard in November last undergoing repairs. She was taken over by the company at the end of November, and has sailed from Liverpool by way of Cape Colony for Australia and New Zealand, where she will be placed on whatever trade for which she is required. ATHENIC LEAVES HOME. According to a cable received by the local office of’ the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company. the liner Athenic sailed from Southampton on Thursday last for Wellington and Auckland. REMUERA AT PANAMA. According to a cable received last night the New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Remuera arrived at Panama on Saturday in Continuation of her voyage from Wellington to London. PAKEHA ARRIVED. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company's liner Pakeha, from London and Southampton via Panama, arrived at Wellington on Sunday. The Pakeha left London on December 7 and Southampton on December 9, and was at Colon on Christmas Day. Froun Colon the vessel proceeded direct to Wellington, maintaining an average speed of knots, and experiencing perfect weather during the whole of the voyage. Captain Hartman Is in command.
